Eltronic FuelTech changes name to FuelTech A/S

Eltronic FuelTech will now operate under the name FuelTech A/S. The name change follows the company’s integration into G&O Maritime Group and reflects its position as part of a dedicated maritime group.

FuelTech has for years been a recognized and trusted brand within fuel supply systems for the maritime industry. By keeping FuelTech in the name, the company maintains this strong reputation while naturally separating from the Eltronic brand.

FuelTech is already a well-established and recognized name among our customers and partners. By continuing under the name FuelTech, we build on that familiarity while naturally stepping away from the Eltronic name following our change in ownership. At the same time, we continue as before in terms of our people, competences, and solutions,” says Louise Andreasen, CEO of FuelTech.

A strong future – now as part of G&O Maritime Group

Saying goodbye to Eltronic in the company name comes naturally, as FuelTech is no longer part of Eltronic Group. Eltronic played an important role in developing the company and laying the foundation for its position today.

Now as part of G&O Maritime Group, FuelTech joins a strong group of specialized maritime companies. The group brings together several market-leading brands, creating a broad product portfolio and strengthening its position in the global maritime industry. With FuelTech, G&O Maritime Group employs over 700 people, has offices and production facilities in Denmark, Dubai, China, and South Korea, and operates an extensive global service network.

The new ownership enhances collaboration across companies with leading positions in their technological niches and supports the continued development of maritime fuel systems. It also provides FuelTech with access to shared competencies, combined capabilities, and synergies across the group, creating a solid foundation to meet the evolving demands of customers and the growing market for greener fuels.

Being part of G&O Maritime Group allows us to work even closer with other specialized companies, share knowledge, and further develop our solutions for the maritime sector – now as FuelTech A/S,” adds Louise Andreasen.

FuelTech will continue its activities unchanged, including its headquarters in Hedensted, Denmark, and its global presence in key maritime markets. The name change will be implemented across all platforms and communication channels in the coming period.
